The Knights of Darkness
KoD's are a rare breed of vampire made of vampire blood mixed with various unknown componants mutated by a German scientist, Dr. Veichter Heinzlen during World War II in a top secret attempt for the perfect soldier with all of the strengths and none of the weeknesses of a vampire other than daylight. Daylight being the only kink the scientist could not work out as his search for a daywalker was ended as his own life was in the fall of Berlin. The project was to be continued and completed but all documentation of the project was destroyed along with the scientist's remains in the blast and so was every known mutated test soldier....or so they thought. Other attempts on duplicating and improving this bloodline has been attepted since but has never even come close with catistrophical results. Although running and associating with other vampire (half)brothren families, if a vampire was to feed on a KoD, the vampire would spoil into its own certain death within minutes of feeding. This was one of the defensive mechanisms designed by the scientist against all types of enemy, human or not. It is a KoDs duty to inform a fellow vampire of this action to help this situation not happen. A KoD can turn a fellow vampire or a human into this rare form the same way a normal vampire would turn a human but only with the correct dosage and manor or it also becomes fatal to the turning. KoD vampires need not feed, thay have no hunger. Although the lust for blood and sexuality is still very high, it is not needed for survival. KoD vampires tho was made to be killing machines are more of a protector, order, and stability keeper of all creatures and are sworn to this upon turning. If a KoD vampire was to disobay the orders of the KoD realm, they would be vanished by a KoD elder, vanishing them forever more. The older a KoD vampire gets, the stronger it gets thus keeping order and control among the ranks of the realm. KoD vampire elders are sensative to the under ranks and do not abuse or exceed the need of their power among the ranks of the family except for in conditions demanded by ruthless unruleing members. Kod vampires can mate with vampires or humans and are very sexual beings but with no child bereing abilities. All KoD family are made from turnings decided on by the elders. Preferably the turnings are of already have been vampires as the transistion is very harsh and even more so for a human. The KoD's blood may have been originaly mutated into this rare form but we still look very deceptively human and alive except when excited or provoked when we become a little long in the tooth and our eyes fill into a vary dark red, almost black.KoD vampires also have a vampire heritage bloodline only not knowing where that part of them come from because the one I originated from was sadly destroyed in attempts to greater build the killing machines saught after by the scientist. Never even getting to know my true creator's name so that I may trace the heritage bloodline. There are some vampires when I am around I smell them and it seems familiar to me even never have met before and seems to put me into a relaxed sense of comfort. I often wonder if it could be that these vampires are my brothers and sisters from my unknown bloodline. I am the first of my kind and have turned very few to be like me but I think it is time for me to show myself and let it be known who I really am. It is time to make more of me to be a great force within this world. It is time to bring together my vampire brothers and sisters and make them stronger. What happened to me was not a tragedy as I had first thought, it was a gift from two creators for differant reasons, now to become the best reason. It is time to share this gift for these purposes I believe in. It is time for me to wealth my brothren to keep a better balance of life and death in this world for all creatures. If you want this, you will have to seek me out and ask for it as I want to know you want it bad enough to track me down for it. I only want those interested in seriously being keepers of all great creatures. I will welcome entire vampire families to become KoD yet keeping their family name along with their integraty and internal structure or become a part of my imediate family. I am not seeking to rule you, I am only seeking to help you in the way I can and make you stronger. Tho the years have not been that long as a vampire for me, it seams an eternity in the shadows wondering who I am and what I should be. Now I know and this is me........ HI!
